First up: What’s a Braai? A braai (pronounced “bry” /braɪ/) ‘The Zimbabwean way of cooking meat over open coals’. More than just a barbecue. It’s a cultural ritual of fire, flavour and community. A gathering that brings people together and sees them leave them with full stomachs and fuller hearts!
Where’s our food from? All our beef is 100% British, hand-reared and traditionally hung for flavour. We cook it over African wood and serve it in rolls baked fresh by local bakers on the day. Simple, honest, and made to be devoured.
Here's what we serve: Steak Roll With Zimi-Churri Marinated British steak, grilled over African wood. Packed into a freshly baked, giant roll. Topped with our famous Zimi-churri. A bold hit of herbs, chilli, garlic & lemon that takes you straight to the Zimbabwean bush. Steak Roll with Braai-B-Q Sauce Juicy steak, fire-grilled the Zimbabwean way. Packed into a freshly baked, giant roll and smothered in our Braai-B-Q sauce. Smoky, sweet and spiced. With a flavour that lingers like the coals. Plain Steak Roll Back to basics. Prime marinated steak, cooked over African wood. Chopped and tucked into a freshly baked, giant roll. Pure Zimbabwean. No extras needed.
