Witney Craft and Gift market has rapidly become one of Mynt Image’s most popular and high performing markets since its establishment. With a high footfall and sales rivalling Guildford, this venue has already become one of our top locations.
Witney Corn Exchange is a beautiful Victorian building built in 1863 right in the centre of Witney. It overlooks the bustling market place and really is a quality venue. Witney is 12 miles west of Oxford, and is a large town, with 28,000 residents. It is classed as being a prestigious place to live being very close to the Cotswolds as well as close to Oxford.
We will be using both the ground floor and the 1st floor hall in 2024 to give us additional space for stallholders.There is a short ramp up to the door, making this hall easy to use for those with mobility difficulties. There is a well used lift to help customers and stallholders access the 1st floor room, as well as a very easy rising staircase.
Once unloaded, stall holders move their cars to a local car park, where there is free parking on the top floor The Corn exchange fronts onto the regular Saturday market at Witney which attracts both locals and tourists to this picturesque and prestigious older area of the town.
We already have established a core group of stall holders at this location who book Witney Corn Exchange well in advance, realising its potential. However we do still have room for new stall holders to join this established group and reap the benefits of this market. Sales in excess of £200 are regular with sales of between £350 and £750 being achieved by several stall holders. This is a wealthy area and this market has rapidly become one of our top 3 markets.
