Watford Pride Picnic is a FREE event, open to the public and provided by the LGBTQ+ community. We accept people or organisations who are Founders, Owners, Managers of an LGBTQ+ based organisation or a strong ally of the LGBTQ+ cause. It is really important that we retain the ethos of an LGBTQ+ event and not be led by commercial decisions that change it into something other than its original intentions. Impactful Lives (charity No. 1203136) has three main aims and one is to tackle stigma and bias. For that reason we will only grant stallholder space to people who identify as LGBTQ+ or organisations that meet our ethical standards with 50% stallholders who identify as LGBTQ+ on site on the day of the event (you can recruit volunteers or paid staff). If any organisation or individual is not an ally of the whole of the LGBTQiA+ communities, we will not allow spaces to be allocated. We rightly exclude anti-trans groups or others who do not meet our charitable objects.
