Description:

Strutt Your Mutt – Dog Day & Walk is the annual charity event hosted by Wangford Veterinary Clinic.

This year, for the very first time the event goes coastal and will be held at the East Point Pavilion and Royal Green, Lowestoft.

This annual family event brings people together and celebrates the uniquerelationship that we share with our dogs and this truly beautiful part of Suffolk. The wonderful way dogs enhance our everyday lives, with loyalty, love and companionship. There really is no denying the power of pets on our health and wellbeing. This is why all proceeds from this event, go to registered charities who provide service dogs such as Guide Dogs for the Blind, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, dogs that support those with mental and physical difficulties, dogs that visit hospitals and care homes

Over the last 12 years this event has raised and donated more than £60,000 to these fantastic charities.

The event includes a walk with treasure hunt for the children included Arena Displays, Fun Dog Shows to include all types of dogs, There will be lots for you and your dog to try, such as fastest recall, have a go agility, my dogs got talent, temptation ally and new this year we have Doga (yoga with your dog). There will be a meet the experts area where you can find out more about the sport of Canicross, get your grooming and training questions answered by the professionals too.

There will also be a large variety of trade and charity stalls, selling everything you could possibly need for your dog, including food, bedding, healthcare, toys, drying coats, collars and leads etc. There will also be an area dedicated to local crafts people too, so lots to see and do.
