Description:
This is a NEW 1940's weekend in Saltaire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It includes dances and dance lessons in the nearby gorgeous Victoria Hall. In Roberts Park, a lovely park over the river, there will be 40's re-enactors, military displays, a dance marquee, Haworth Homeguard, classic vehicles and a classic caravan camping area. There will also be vintage prams, policemen and poodles. This new weekend is receiving significant support from the 40's community and from the council. Saltaire is a tourist village and has many visitors regardless.
Stallholders need their own gazebo and have PLI. They can camp near their stalls overnight and can arrive Friday evening or Saturday morning before 9:00am to set up.
