Cranleigh is much more than a village and is best described as a thriving Surrey market town. Having many specialist shops, a host of amazing restaurants, many banks and a wide range of familiar High Street named shops, this really is a bustling community yet the village also retains its traditional old world charms with many character buildings and picturesque scenes. This really is a thriving community with this magnificent building at its heart.
Mynt Image have been using Cranleigh Village Hall successfully as one of our prestigious Surrey venues for the last 9 years with great success. There is always a real buzz to the market and sales have always been good for most of the stall holders. Sales in excess of £200 have been regular with over £400 often being achieved by several of our regulars. A record £1400 was achieved by one stallholder in 2019!!
Cranleigh Village Hall is located right at the entrance to the main car park in Cranleigh. On the other side of the hall is the main supermarket of Cranleigh making this an absolutely ideal location for a Mynt Image Craft and Gift Market.
This one of those venues which proves that large footfalls are not necessary to obtain good sales. Footfalls are normally between 400 and 600, though a footfall of over 1000 has been achieved. The last hour of the market is often the most profitable with customers returning from earlier visits. This is also one of those markets where our artists have been asked ‘can I purchase the original please’ rather than buying a print. Cranleigh is a wealthy area and has proved itself to be very profitable for many stall holders during the years we have run it.
The venue also lends itself to a café. If you believe that your cakes are the best and you want to sell them at a wonderful well equipped location as well as serving teas and coffees to many customers, then please do get in touch
The Village Hall is an ideal setting for our markets and will hold 30 tables. At Christmas, this location is a real hit as locals and visitors enjoy the Christmas charms of a traditional Surrey market town and often return to find regular stallholders.
