Christmas at Union Square is one of those opportunities that feels made for independent makers and small creative businesses.

From Monday 30th November to Sunday 20th December 2026, The Crafters Roadshow will be right in the heart of Union Square during the busiest gift-buying weeks of the year, and we’d love to welcome some brilliant small businesses along. Christmas shoppers are looking for gifts that feel different, products with a story behind them and something they won’t find everywhere else. That is where meeting the maker really comes into its own. Union Square gives you the chance to put your work directly in front of customers, talk about what you make and become part of the Christmas atmosphere in one of Aberdeen’s busiest shopping destinations.

We supply every maker with a 6ft Showcase Station and seating, so you can concentrate on bringing your products and creating a display that feels like you. There are individual days, weekends and full Christmas weeks available, so makers can choose dates that work for their business.
