The Bakewell " Six weeks of Summer " Craft & Gift Fair ~ Est 1991 ~ One of our busiest event periods of the year, when we open " every day " during the " Summer School Holidays " from Saturday 26th July to Wednesday 3rd Sept ( includes all weekends ) During the Summer School Holidays the town benefits from all the extra international tourists , holidaymakers & family day trippers ~ Being held in the Brigade Hall which is located just " Through Bath Gardens " in Bakewell Town Centre , the ancient capital of the Peak District and home to the " world famous " Bakewell pudding. Tuesday to Friday is a reduced table hire charge at only £13.00 per day with Monday and " weekends " at £16.00 daily for one 6ft x 2ft (includes chairs / electric supply) and single days are OK to book (10ft tables also available from Tues to Friday at £20 daily and £24 at weekends ( subject to availability ).
Monday is also the busy Market Day in town ~ Please note no deposit or payment up front is required & you simply " pay on the day " after booking online and receiving confirmation by email ~ Unloading and parking is outside the Hall and "free of charge" with easy one level access. The Hall has kitchen & toilet facilities for craft workers and we open from 10.30am until 4.30pm with Free Admission ~ If you want to book a table just email the date's required with a description of your crafts / gifts to Stuart at [email protected] ( please include your contact phone number and the table size required) I will then check availability for you and confirm back ( also email for any further information )
Our regular weekly Fair opens every weekend & mid week during the school holidays & all the Bank Holidays from now until mid Dec ~ Please see website for all the new 2025 Dates.
