Celebrate Armed Forces Day in Caldicot Town Centre – Saturday 28th June 2025.

Caldicot Town Centre is set to explode with colour, music, and patriotic pride on Saturday 28th June 2025, as we host our Armed Forces Day Street Party – a free, all-day celebration to honour the men and women of our Armed Forces.

Running alongside the Welsh National Armed Forces Day at Caldicot Castle and Country Park, this town centre event will offer a full day of festivities just a short walk from the main castle site. With an expected 5,000+ visitors in town for the day, Caldicot will be at the very heart of Wales’ Armed Forces Day commemorations.

Proudly supported by Caldicot Town Council, the streets will be decorated in vintage style, and the entire community is invited to join in this special day of celebration.

Entry and parking are completely free.

9AM – 7PM: Armed Forces Street Market

Start your day with a wander through our bustling street market, where stalls will be bursting with handmade crafts, local produce, artisan gifts, military memorabilia, and more.

Whether you’re shopping, browsing, or grabbing a bite and a coffee, it’s a perfect way to support local traders and take in the festive town atmosphere.

9AM – 7PM: Live Music, Vintage Sounds & Street Entertainment

The town centre will be filled with music and entertainment throughout the day. Here’s what to expect:

• The Hollywells – Taking to the stage with a fantastic set of crowd-pleasing tunes, this talented local band will have everyone singing and dancing along.

• DJ Reverend Hep – Our charismatic compère for the day, spinning the very best of 1940s and 1950s rock & roll, swing, and wartime classics to keep the vintage vibes alive.

• Churchill Tribute Performance – Be transported back in time with a moving live performance of Winston Churchill’s famous Victory Speech, performed by our incredible Churchill impersonator.

• Street entertainers, surprise performances, and toe-tapping music throughout the day.

From morning melodies to afternoon anthems, there’ll be something for all ages and tastes.

Food, Drinks & Vintage Vibes

Our Street Food Festival will offer something to satisfy every appetite:

• Gourmet burgers

• Global flavours and sizzling street food

• Sweet treats and desserts

• Pop-up bars serving craft gins, cold beers, and quality wines
