Leeds African and Caribbean Food Fest 2026 returns this August Bank Holiday weekend to  coincide with Leeds's biggest West, Indian Street Carnival.

Set in the heart of Leeds City Square, the African and Caribbean Food Fest will bring together a vibrant mix of mouth-watering food, culture, rhythm, colour, and community togetherness.

This year's theme entitled  “Living Square, Rooted in Harmony.”   Prepare yourself for a truly flavourful, colourful explosion of food stalls serving up sizzling Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, and rice  fragrant Jollof Rice, and delicious  home-made meat patties.  

All your authentic  fiery Caribbean street-food favourites, and delicious, vegan-style cuisine bursting with  Caribbean flavours.  

It does not stop there! Indulge your senses with sweet and refreshing Caribbean bakery delights washed down with cooling Jamaican sorrel, and tropical press juices designed to keep the energy flowing throughout the day.  

If things couldn't get any better!  immerse yourself in the calypso rhythm with live steelpan performances, cultural showcases, and our very own colourful pop-up Carnival Parade,  filling the square  with colour, movement, and celebration.  

Beyond the mouth-watering food and vibrant music, discover a colourful mix of arts and crafts stalls, handmade treasures, children's face painting, and a lively Creative Play Zone for the little ones to enjoy.
