April 2008:  School Fund Finder, the new grant and funding website for schools from SF Software Ltd, has now been launched.  It is specifically tailored for school needs, providing a searchable database of available grants and funding opportunities and a dedicated fundraising team on hand to help individual schools maximise their fundraising potential.

Schools in the UK are currently fundraising over £230 million a year to supplement their budgets.  Knowing where to look for these funds and how to write an effective grant proposal are crucial for successful fundraising.  Gaining this specialist knowledge can often be a serious drain on time and staff resources in schools.  This is where School Fund Finder steps in to help schools get their share.

Project manager Ryan Green is delighted to announce the launch of the site: “I am passionate about fundraising in schools and I understand the challenges many schools face in finding and securing grants.  School Fund Finder aims to change this by providing schools with one port of call for all the latest grants, fundraising news and ideas.

The grants database brings together fundraising opportunities from public, private, charitable and European sectors, the document section offers advice and useful templates for writing applications and proposals, and the online community forum encourages schools to discuss and share ideas.  I am very much looking forward to the future of school fundraising.”

If you are interested in becoming a subscriber of School Fund Finder, please visit the website at
