This year's event is fast approaching with 10 weeks this Saturday 27th April it is being held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July 9am-5pm at SMH Stadium,1866,Sheffield Road, Chesterfield. S41 8NZ. A first for this venue will be a Chieftain Tank on display as seen on the Photo. Attractions include other Military Vehicles and equipment display, WW2 Re-Enactors, 3rd Air Bourne (Barnsley), Sniper Alley, other Military Personal Proctors Fun Fair, as well as many Chairity/Craft Stalls. Hopefully a Flypast by BBMF. I will know what it will be nearer the Event Entertainment on both days.
There is a Parade on Saturday 6th 9.30am from entrance of the Football Club Stadium, the Parade will march off after the Flag Raising at the Entrance to the Stadium, led by Ireland Colliery Chesterfield Band to the Football Club Memorial for an opening service and act of Remembrance. There will Licenced Bars in the Concourse run by the Football Club.
