Description:
The Old Newton Dog and Country Show this year is on 23rd June 2024 and has been running now for several years and 2023 was our most successful year yet with record attendances and every dog class full.
We are hoping in 2024 to expand the event to raise more vital funds to keep our Village Hall going for the coming year.
The event is free to enter and we are keen to keep it that way so more of the local community can come along and enjoy the day. We invite an array of stalls and trade stands, a bar, community groups to perform, BBQ, the all important WI tea and cake stand, a car show and of course the highlight our wonderful Dog Show. The event provides great exposure for businesses at a community level and is enjoyed by all ages and over 800 people attended in 2023.
