As I am sure you know, Athelstan became King of All England in 924.

As he had close links with Malmesbury, we are celebrating this event next year in 2024.

The Town Team have organised here lectures, theatricals, battles, competitions and feasting! There will be an exciting publicity campaign and several well attended events.

As such an Anglo-Saxon food and craft market is planned the weekend of July 13th- in the Cloisters 10-4pm on the Saturday. A majestic setting! Stall holders and products need to be in keeping with the period.
